United Sound Chapter
United Sound is an initiative to see the inclusion of special needs individuals into the music education world. At Natchitoches Central, we are only the second United Sound chapter in the state of Louisiana. United Sound sees students take the lead in working music with their peers and providing a memorable, educational, and enjoyable experience to all involved. The United Sound NC Chapter will perform their first concert in May 2022 at the Natchitoches Central Band Department Spring Concert.
The NC United Sound Chapter is largely a student run organization, but is under the supervision of Mr. Thurber, Ms. Toney, Mrs. Cassels, and NC "DES" instructor Allie Humes.

3)Learn multitude of repertoire composed by Jazz master musicians
